Frequently Asked Questions
What is your approach to nutrition?
Nutrition is about what you can add, not what you can take away! I practice from a weight-inclusive, non-diet perspective. My approach is informed by Health at Every Size (HAES), Intuitive Eating, and evidence-based sports nutrition principles. I strive to provide a compassionate, individualized experience for every client.
Do you accept insurance?
I am able to take select insurance panels for clients in certain states through Fay Nutrition at this time.
How do I book a session?
After contacting the practice, I schedule a free 15-minute discovery call that will help both the potential client and myself determine if my nutrition services are a good fit. From there, we can move forward in booking that first session!
What kind of clients do you specialize in?
I broadly work as a sports and eating disorder dietitian. My specialty populations are runners, female athletes, athletes with Relative Energy Deficiency in Sport (RED-S), athletes with eating disorders, and adolescents with eating disorders. Please note that I do not provide intentional weight loss services.
Do you provide virtual sessions? Do I have to live in Wisconsin or Illinois to work with you?
Currently, all of my nutrition sessions are conducted virtually. I am able to work with clients in other states depending on where they reside.
